Graduating in 1972 from Southern Illinois University, Cindy Powers has been involved in patient care and rehabilitation for over 45 years. Power In Motion Rehab Services, was founded by Cindy in 1997. Cindy’s ‘Mission Statement’ has a singular vision and commitment. That is; to provide superior quality rehabilitative services that patients recommend to family and friends, but more importantly, services which Physicians choose for their patients.
Frustrated with the mediocre results that a ‘traditional’ methodology to rehabilitation produced; Cindy experienced the extraordinary, efficient and expedient outcomes that a ‘hands-on’ rehabilitative approach facilitated in the recovery and repair of acute and chronic injuries. For the past 23 years, Cindy has exclusively devoted her time to the development of Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) skills.
Cindy’s expertise lies in identifying and re-mediating musculoskeletal and spinal pain and dysfunction, traumatic brain injuries, concussion management, sports and performing artists injuries and performance enhancement.
